Is it possible to play the game with 2 players?

Yes, simply leave the Flaming Galah and Golden Goose cards out of the deck. However, these cards are great fun!

Which edition do I have?

The printed deck sold in our shop is the Innocent Edition.

The online game uses the Pure Edition, plus the Raging and Mounting Editions you can unlock. They share the same core rules but have different cards: see the edition pages.

Can I mix editions together?

Yes! Shuffle the decks together and score with points.

What is the difference between Falcon Interceptor and Distracting Booby?

None: they are the same card. It is called Falcon Interceptor in the Innocent Edition and Distracting Booby in the other editions.

What is the difference between the Booming Booby and the Lovely Cockatoo?

They are the special cards of different editions.

The Booming Booby (Innocent Edition) makes whoever draws it discard it and 3 other cards. The Lovely Cockatoo (Pure Edition) makes whoever draws it swap hands with the next player.

How do I buy Golden Eggs?

In the online game: sign in, open the Store and tap Get Golden Eggs.

Payment is taken by Stripe and the eggs are added to your account straight away. See the Terms of Sale.

Why did you make this game?

I have always been fascinated by birds, particularly wild exotic birds, and wanted to make a card game that’s bird themed.

A lot of the card games that we played did not allow players to continue once they had won or died. This game keeps everyone engaged in the game until the very end.

I hope you enjoy playing this game as much as I had fun making and playing it!

Was AI used to make the card game?

Yes, for the initial art. AI currently isn’t very good at making a consistent style, so GIMP was also used to improve it.

Why is the game called Innocent Chicks?

Baby birds are cute and adorable, especially fledglings with fluffy feathers.

Can you lie in the game?

Yes, misleading your opponents is a key (and fun!) part of this game!

Do you have plans for any charitable donations?

For every pack of cards sold, 10p will be donated to the British Hen Welfare Trust.

Who is the manufacturer?
