Bouncing Penguin
Interrupt card

Take over an attack: you choose which player(s) it hits instead. Everyone treats the attack as if it came from you, so stolen cards come to you.
- Type
- Interrupt card: Played in response to another player’s card, even when it is not your turn.
- When
- During any attack you did not play, even on someone else’s turn.
- Afterwards
- Goes on the discard pile.
- Editions
- Innocent Edition (×3), Pure Edition (×3)
Rules details
- It only works against attack cards (and against another Bouncing Penguin). It cannot be played against a Falcon Interceptor / Distracting Booby.
- Several Bouncing Penguins can be played on the same attack. The last one decides where it goes.
- Against an attack that picks several cards it redirects only the picks still to come, and you may spread them over several players.
- If two Falcon Interceptors cancel each other out, a Bouncing Penguin underneath them still redirects the attack.
See Interrupts & examples for how chains of interrupt cards settle.
